"The Winter Garden"

Urshula and Elijah, are such a beautiful couple, who contacted me to capture one of the most memorable day of their lives. We have met at the winter garden and had a wonderful conversation before we started the photography session. The plan was supposed to enter the premises of the garden but I was not allowed to take some photos for the couple inside due to pandemic restriction. Instead, I was able to take some shots outside with them just in front of the entrance area.

It was a quiet afternoon when we head to explore the wonderful surroundings of the Auckland Domain located in the central suburb of Grafton, the park land is the remains of the explosion crater and most of the surrounding tuff ring of the Pukekawa volcano.. There are plenty of locations to shoot. As a photographer, this place has everything you need for portrait photography especially for wedding.

This photoshoot took at least less than two hours. Urshula and Elijah wanted to make it quick as much as possible because they need to arrive to their wedding reception on time. I made sure that I get a lot of good looks for the couple while constantly communicating with them.

This interesting location tells a lot of story about these images below. The couple had fun because they were surprised with a lot of people in the car cheering and congratulating them while waiting for them to cross the road. I thought it was a great experience for the new husband and wife.
